Film

This collection of photos was taken on my Vivitar film camera, marking my first experience with film photography beyond basic Polaroid cameras. Shooting with film opened my eyes—it felt like capturing the present using technology from the past. It was a little intimidating and challenging at times since getting the right exposure required a lot of practice to avoid photos that were too dark or too bright.

But that’s the unique and fun aspect of film photography—it’s unpredictable. The anticipation of waiting for the photos to be developed makes the final result so much more rewarding. I think this process highlights how modern technology, while designed for human convenience, often removes the human touch and appreciation for small details.
